Scheduled Water Outage Alert: July 9

UMBC is currently undertaking multiple utility improvements on campus. Upgrades to the campus domestic water service will require a scheduled outage to water service at the following buildings: Administration, Engineering, University Center, ITE, Sherman & Sondheim. The outage will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Excavations associated with this work will commence on June 27, 2022 near the affected buildings. Please refer to the Facilities Management summer construction map for additional information. Accessible pedestrian routes will be maintained through the area. Service vehicle access to the 220 access road between ITE and Sherman Hall may be impacted June 29 – 30, 2022.
