BGE Natural Gas Line Replacement Near True Grit's & Lot 11

Baltimore Gas & Electric will be replacing an existing gas line near lot 11 and True Grit's beginning this Wednesday, July 13^th, 2022. The work will improve the reliability of gas service in the area and requires the closure of lot 11 and an adjacent sidewalk Wednesday, July 13^th, 2022, through Monday, July 18^th, 2022. Additionally, the sidewalk between True Grit's and Susquehanna Hall will be partially closed Wednesday, July 13^th, 2022, through Friday, July 29^th, 2022. All closures will be identified with construction barriers and temporary signage will be installed throughout the area to guide pedestrians and vehicles. All building entrances/exits will remain open during this time. Please see graphic for more detail on these impacts.

Work to restore the landscaping in the area will be completed in August 2022. Any additional impacts will be communicated through the Facilities Management myUMBC group.
